PAPAKURA
RETURNED SOLDIERS' BALL
At the third annual ball of the Papakura Returned Soldiers' Association, held in the Regent Theatre, coloured lights, flags and foliage made attractive decorations. Shields with the names of the most prominent battles fought in the war figured prominently in the scheme. Socially and financially the ball was a brilliant success.
