FRANKTON QUOTATIONS OX BEEF IN DEMAND [from our own CORRESPONDENTj HAMILTON, Tuesday An average yarding of fat sheep, comprised mostly of wethers, was penned at the Frankton saleyards today. Late rates were maintained. Only a few prime quality fat ewes came forward and competition was good. Fat lambs were yarded in large numbers and sold at slightly easier rates..There was n smaller entry of ox beef, the majority again being well-finished cattle. Competition was good and tho market remained very linn. There was a larger yarding than usual of cow and heifer beef. Prime quality lines showed an improvement on recent sales.
