CARROLL BEATS RICHARDS MARONEY DEFEATS HALL SYDNEY, July 24 In a boxing contest at the Sydney Stadium last evening, Jack Carroll (lOst. 111b.) obtained the decision oh a technical knock-out against Ron Richards (also lOst, 111b.). The referee stopped the bout in the 13th round. Teddy Maroney (Bst. 121b.) obtained the decision _on points, and the featherweight title, against Joe Hall (Bst. 131b.).
