ASSOCIATION NEWS
At the last meeting of tho financial year, the Board of Directors gave some time to the hearing of the annual reports and finance statement. Mrs. M. Rudd, tho first vice-president, whoso nine years' term of service as a director is now concluded, was presented with flowers and farewelled by tho president. Mrs. A. D. Campbell paid a glowing tribute to Mrs. Rudd's work for the association, and this was endorsed by Mrs. T. Clark, tho honorary treasurer. Tho annual meeting was fixed for August 15. Congratulations were extended to tho Y.W.C.A._ Tres Bon Club, whose annual concert in aid of general funds had been very successful. Arrangements to entertain Mrs. H. D. Bennett, a member of tho executive of tho Y.W.C.A. of New Zealand, en route to the Pan-Pacific Women's conference at Honolulu, were discussed. Recommendations and reports from departments were dealt with and details finalised in regard to the Forest Fair in aid of World Fellowship funds.
