Mrs. D. Wilson and Miss S. J. King, Morrinsville, are at the Hotel Cargcn. Miss Mary Walker, is the guest of Mrs. Turnbull, The Terrace, Wellington. Mrs. E. Perry, of Sydney, is on a holiday visit to Rotorua, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. H. Greig and Miss Alison Greig, Taranaki, are spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. T. Phillips and her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Stead, Canterbury, are visiting Auckland. Mrs. W. Learmonth Graham, of Waiuku, and her small son returned last week from a visit to Scotland. Mrs. W. W. Massey, Mangere, who has been the guest of Mrs. A. W. Pacey, Napier, has returned to her home. Mrs. E. Fitzgerald, Oamaru, Mrs. A. F. Corballis, Wanganui, and Miss God-win-Smith, Whangarei, are at the Station Hotel. At the Central Hotel are:—Mrs. R. A. Berge, Mrs. George Osman, Mrs. W. Morley, Gisborne, Mrs. W. T. Patte, New Plymouth, and. Mrs. H. G. Sommerville, Wellington. Miss C. Blackwell, Milford, and Miss Pat Rawnsley, Remuera, who have been touring in New South Wales and Queensland for the past seven months, are at present the guests of Mrs. J. Enkelmann, Pimpama Island, Brisbane. At a meeting of the Henderson Women's Christian Temperance Union, a statement was presented of the recent fair held in the Airedale Street Hall. It was decided to send a letter to Mr. H. G. R. Mason, M.P., asking him to support the Bible in Schools Enabling Bill A meeting of the Otahuhu Women's Christian Temperance Union, was held last week, the president, Mrs. Eccersall. presiding. A paper was read on the life and work of pioneer workers in tlm cause of temperance, and a memorial prayer was read. Mrs. Hall was hostess for tea. At a meeting of the Mothers' Club of the Y.W.C.A. the Rev. Murray Gow, the newly-appointed minister of St. Mary's and St Peter's Presbyterian Church at Grey Lynn, gave a talk entitled "A Challenge to Womanhood." Mrs. C. Dickens presided. Tea hostesses were Mesdames Sharp, Hart and Heartwell.
