B, McGrath (Australia) v. S. JB. Wood (America). July 23. —Crawford and A. K. Quist v. G. M. Lott and L. It. Stoefen. July 24. —Crawford v. Wood, and McGrath v. Shields. W. T. Tilden, American professional player, has arrived in London from America on a holiday. He says Britain undoubtedly is the champion tennis notion this year, and he believes she will retain the Davis Cup.
