HOME GUARDED
SIR JOHN SIMON THREATS BY TELEPHONE (Received July 17, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 17 The Daily Telegraph states that the home of Sir John Simon, Foreign Secretary. at Walton-on-Hill, is being specially guarded by the police. This is because of the receipt of threats over the telephone such as: " You are leading the country into war," "You are a marked man " and " I will wipe you out."
