GERMAN BONDS
HOLDERS IN AMERICA STRONG NOTE TO BERLIN (Received July 17, 5.35 p.m.) WASHINGTON. July 16 In a strongly-worded communication the State Department has demauded that the German Government shall grant American holders of German bonds absolutely t.he same consideration as that granted to British holders. The Note stated that tho German Government was under unescapable responsibility to grant equal treatment.
