TARIFF BARGAINING
AMERICAN ACTIVITY JAPANESE TRADE RUSE (Received July 1". 5.35 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 1G .It is reported that the Government is conducting secret negotiations with foreign Governments seeking tariff bargains by reducing the United States tariff. The purpose is to permit of a yearly addition of 200,000,000 dollars worth of foreign goods to enter the country. Although Japan is included in theso bargaining talks perturbation exists regarding imported Japanese manufactured goods, especially over a report that Japanese have established a manufacturing city named Usa, where goods manufactured and imported into this country arc stamped "Made in Usa."
