YOUNG WOMAN KILLED
MOTOR COLLISION VICTIM [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'! CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday An inquest was opened to-day concerning tho death of Mrs. May Sproull Gantley, aged 28, a cook employed at the Grosvenor Hotel, who was killed in a motor collision in Colombo Street last evening. Deceased was thrown out of the cab of a motor-lorry when it struck a closed car and was fatally injured. Tho car was driven by Mr. Francis Stokes Board, of Auckland, and the lorry by Mr. John Valmar Windleborn. The inquest was adjourned.
