Notice is hereby given that a Local Bill Will be introduced into Parliament during thei present session thereof by the Auckland Transport -Board under the title of The Auckland Transport Board Empowering Act, 1934. The objects of the said Bill are briefly as follows: (a) To empower the Governor-General to make ].rovision for the alteration of representation of any constituency on the Auckland Transport Board by reason of merger, union, division or other alteration of any constituent district. (b) To authorise the voting by cross at elections and polls in the Auckland Transport District and certain other local districts. (c) To validate a certain Agreement made between the Board of the one part and Thomas Henry Bonnett and others of the other part and to authorise the Board to make similar contracts. (d) To authoiise the Board to use certain sinking funds and raise special loans to enable it to purchase certain debentures issued by the Auckland City Council. A copy of the said Bill has been deposited at the Magistrate's Court, Auckland, and a copy has also been deposited at the public office of the Board situated at the corner of Customs Street West and Albert Street, Auckland, and such copies are open to public inspection during office hours without fee.
