NEW SCHOOLHOUSE
ERECTION AT WAIAU PA [BY TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL REPORTER] "WELLINGTON, Tuesday A grant for the erection of a teacher's residence at Waiau Pa, Karaka, has been approved by the Cabinet, according to an intimation given by the Hon. R, Masters, Minister of Education, to Mr. J. N. Massey, M.P., to-day. '* Only one schoolhouse was erected in New Zealand last year and only three will he erected this year. Repeated representations regarding the Waiau Pa residence have been made by Mr. Massey during the past five years.
