CLEM DAWE'S COMPANY
At His Majesty's Theatre this afternoon the-Clem Dawe company will present a matinee performance oi " "":o Music Box of 1934," which will bo staged for the final occasion this evening. During the. matinee ladies in the audience will bo given a number of gifts, including a four-piece bedroom suite. To-morrow night is termed " Topsv Turvy" evening, because the second act is to be devoted to a uniquo entertainment, the novelty being that the singers will be called upon to dance, the dancers to sing, and Clem Dawe will appear in a series of characters, including that of an adagio dancer, a romantic singer and a soubrette. On Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening the company will present "SoLong. Folk," in which it appeared during the last 12 nights of the record seasons in Sydney and Melbourne. On Friday evening Clem Dawe will distribute to men in the audience a number of gifts, including a suit of clothes. On Saturday afternoon children in the audience will again be given a number of presents, including a pony and saddle and a bicycle. The company will make its farewell appearance on Monday night, when a specially-arranged programme ot the most successful features staged during the present season will be given.
