PRESENTATIONS
An unusual social event took place in Hamilton last evening, when the friends of Messrs. R. Whitten and F. Jones, who have been in business partners in Hamilton for the Inst 25* years. Gathered to mark the dissolution of th* partnership and .Mr. \\ bitten s retirement from the business. Mr. ana Mrs. Jones presented Mr. and Mrs. \Y bitten with a teaset. Miss L. Astburv handed Mr. \\ bitten a foiin Jin pen on behalf of th> staff, am Mr. C E Goosman presented Mr. \\ mj-ten with a leather wallet and Mrs. ten with a chromium clock as a of goodwill ironi man? friends.
