Ho says it will traverse tho stratosphere at a speed of 8000 kilometres (about 5000 miles) an hour. Tho torpedo will be over 100 yards in length and will cost £40,000. It is claimed that tho torpedo will be immune from tho death ray recently announced from America. Ten Japanese scientists, who have inspected the' invention, are reported to have been astounded at its apparent capabilities.
