REMARKABLE INVENTION CLAIM BY JAPANESE TREMENDOUS VELOCITY By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received July 35, 6.5 p.m.) TOKIO, July 14 Tsuncd<f O'Bara, who is credited with being tho author of 700 inventions, has announced a claim to the invention of a rocket torpedo capafclo of reaching anywhere in the world. Ho says it will traverse tho stratosphere at a speed of 8000 kilometres (about 5000 miles) an hour. Tho torpedo will be over 100 yards in length and will cost £40,000. It is claimed that tho torpedo will be immune from tho death ray recently announced from America. Ten Japanese scientists, who have inspected the' invention, are reported to have been astounded at its apparent capabilities.
