SPORT IN THE NORTH
PHEASANTS FOR LIBERATION [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Saturday A meeting of the Whangarei Acclimatisation Society was held last night, when it was decided to purchase all the available pheasants in the district for liberation at an early date. Tho society is taking special precautions to prevent any birds being liberated which are not perfectly healthy.
