MANGERE EAST CROQUET
The Mangere East Croquet Club held the annual meeting recently. Mrs. A. Newson, retiring president, thanked all members for their co-operation and sustained effort in bringing the year socially and financially to a successful conclusion. The officers elected for the ensuing year were:—President, Mrs. A. Newson (re-elected); vice-president, Mrs. Massey (re-elected); secretary, Miss Tims; treasurers, Mrs. Penman (re-elected); committee, Mesdames Soloman, Jackson, Chapman, Key, Nicholls, House, Henwood; match committee, Mesdames Chapman, .. Jackson and Soloman; honorary vice-president, Mr. A. Newson; auditor, Mr. Tait; delegates to association, Mrs. Newson and Mrs. Massey.
