PHILISTINES' CLUB

The Philistines' Club social held in the Amateur Operatic Society's Hall in Grafton Road on Saturday, was well attended 'by members and their friends. The chairman was Mr. F. J. Hutchinson. Two entertaining sketches produced by Mr. J. F. Montague were entitled " Emily's- Excuse" and "Bonds of Marriage." Those taking the parts were Miss Daisy Welch, Miss Roma Garrett, Miss Phyllis Torpy, Miss Kathleen Coleman, Air. J. F. Montague and Mr. Fred Jackson. Other items were contributed by Mrs. W.
