DANCING CONTESTS
Tho finals in a ballroom dancing contest woro held at tho Peter Pan Cabaret last week. Mr. J. Lanigan and Miss-0. Woods, in tho junior section, and Mr. 11. Latta and Miss D. Thornton, in the soniors, wore judged tho winners by popular vote. Tho judges, Miss M. Johnston and Mr. J. Hutchison, awarded tho junior decision to Mr. D. Brittain and Miss Mathias and tho senior to Mr. E. Prendorgast and Miss Mathias. Owing to tho difficulty of deciding between Mr. Lanigan and Mr. Brittain and their partners, tlio judges awarded a special cup to tho former.
