NEW ASSEMBLY HALL
SCHOOL AT HAMILTON COMPLETION OF BUILDING [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Saturday An important addition to the Hamilton Technical High School has just been completed in the form of an assembly hall. In the past the 500 children attending the school have had to assemble for prayers in the open playground or in the corridors of one of the buildings, while the breaking-up ceremonies were held in the Winter Show hall.
The new assembly hall is 80ft. in length and 36ft. in width, and is capable of accommodating 500 people. It is built of corrugated iron on a site close to the main buildings of the Bchool, and is detached. There are three eyits, and adequate lighting and ventilation are provided. Tenders have been called for the erection of two additional laboratories at the school.
