RICHMOND AND DEVONPORT FAST MATCH ANTICIPATED Ono of the best matches of t he season should, bo seen at Cnriaw Park tomorrow, when Richmond, the loading and unbeaten team in the Auckland Rugby League's senior championship, ■will play Devonport. The latter has shown vast improvement in recent matches and is expected to make a bold bid to lower Richmond's colours. Like Richmond, Devonport plays attractive football, and if the conditions arc fine to-morrow a fast and spectacular game should result. Richmond is such a well-balanced side that Devonport will have to play above itself to take the honours, but a win for the latter would prove very popular with followers of the code.
As a curtain-raiser Newton will play Murist, and as the. latter is showing improvement with each match an even contest is expected. In this game also play should bo fast and open. On the No. 2 ground City will try conclusions with Ponsonby, and on form the latter should win. Lower grade competitions will be continued,
