1200 GUINEAS FOR RAM
PRICE AT SYDNEY SALES At the stud sheep sales in Sydnej recently 1200 guineas was paid;for a Haddon Rig Merino ram—the highest price paid for a ram in Sydney for some years. The ram was bought by the Stirton Estate, of Minnie Downs, Tambo, Queensland. There was enthusiastic applause when the ram and several other high-priced animals were sold.
The sales for the day totalled 866 sheep, and the total purchase money was nearly £17,000. The average was £l9 los.
