RESULTS OF COMPETITION A pood range of prints was exhibited at a meeting of tho Auckland Camera Club held last when tho subject for competition was "Portraiture, Figure Study, or Composition including Figure." Tho results were ns follows: Mr. E. Champtaloup, 1; Mrs. R. E. Ash, 2; Mr. T. H. Ash, junr., 3. Tho speakers for tho evening were Mr. Tornquist and Mr. Hipwell, who spoke on a selection of English and Continental prints which wero on exhibition. In addition, criticisms of English authorities on tho same pictures wero given.
Tho winning prints in tho competition were retained for the consideration of tho selection committee for tho club's entry in tho Blcdisloe Cup competition, to bo held in Auckland toward tho end of this month.
