LOCAL BODY REFORM
GOVERNMENT'S INTENTIONS EARLY STATEMENT PROMISED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS association] WELLINGTON. Wednesday In reply to a question by the Hon. C. J, Carrington (Auckland) : the Legislative Council to-day, the Leader, the Hon. R. Masters, said the matter of local body reform was at present being considered. The Government would shortly make a statement indicating its policy.
