SAN FRANCISCO PORT STRIKERS ATTACK POLICE CARGO MOVED FROM DOCKS By Telegraph—Press Associatjon—Copyright (Received July 4, 5.5 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, July 3 Amid fierce fighting to-day heavily laden' lorries began moving cargo from the San Francisco docks, which had been closed since May 9 owing to the waterfront strike. Two policemen were hurt and some pickets were injured. Several hundred strikers advanced upon a blockade of trucks and wero met by more than 600 city policemen, who fired shotguns into the air, hurled gas bombs and split innumerable scalps with their swinging batons.
