TEN ROUNDS PLAYED . BETS OF £3500 DECIDED (Received July 4. 6.45 p.m.) LONDON. July 3 Captain Morris to-day won a bet of £SOO and decided other people's side bets totalling £3OOO by playing 10 rounds of golf on the Wa liner course in 889 strokes. The wager was that he would not exceed 900 strokes. The time occupied by Captain Morris was 17 hours 20 minutes. He walked 4U miles and his only nourishment all claj consisted of a few drops of branny, egg and milk, ginger beer and lettuce. The rounds were 86, 80, 84, ob, So, 84, 97, 95, So, 97. The first sign or weariness shown by Captain Morris was at the end of the eighth round when he took a stimulant. He used the same ball for five rounds.
