OBITUARY
MRS. H. ROBB The death occurred yesterday, at the ago of-74 years, of an old resident of Northcote, Mrs. Hepzibah Robb, widow of the late Mr. W. D. Robb, formerly manager of the Northcote and Birkenhead branch of the Devouport Ferry Company. Mr. Robb died over two years ago. Born at Godrnanchestor, St. Ives, Gloucestershire, Mrs. Robb, who was then Miss Lister, went to Australia in 1877 in one of tho old sailing ships. She ivas married to Mr. Robb at Gawler, New South Wales. With her husband and family she sailed for California in 1889 in the fourmas ted sailing ship Aultmore. .The vessel struck a coral reef and was wrecked, and Mr. and Airs. Robb, with their four young sons, ranging between eight and two years, spent several days and nights in a lifeboat. They were picked up by the paddle steamer Rarawa and taken to Suva. A month later they came to Auckland. Mrs. Robb is survived by three sons, Messrs. G. S. Robb, of Warkworth, A. It. Robb, of Avondale, and P. D. Robb, of Northcote, and one daughter, Mrs. W. J. Goad, of Northcote. Thero are nine grandchildren.
MRS. CATHERINE McWILLIAM The death occurred at the residence of her eon, Mr. C. F. McWilliam, of Mewburn Avenue, Mount Eden, yesterday, of Mrs. Catherine McAVilliani at at the age of S7 years. Born in Hillsborough, County Down, Ireland, she was tliG wife of the late Mr. W. R. MeWillmni, a well-known figure in the Irish linen industry, who died many years ago. She came to New Zealand four years ago to reside with her son in Auckland, travelling alono on the steamer although then in her S4th year. She was tho oldest passenger on the vessel. Mrs. McWilliam made many friends in Auckland. She was fond of the open air and recently climbed to tho top of Mount Eden. She uas a member of the Mount Eden I'mbyterian Church. Sho is survived by two pons, Messrs. W. R. McWilliam, of and C. F. McWilliam, of Mount Eden, and two daughters, Mcsdaraes H. Smyth, of Bangor, County Down, and D. Armstrong, of Canada. There are eight grandchildren. The interment will take place at Hillsborough Cemetery.
MR. HENRY S. OAVE [from OUR. OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Tho death occurred in Hamilton today of Mr. Henry Shelton Cavo, at the ago of 74 years. Mr. Cave was born in Baston, Lincolnshire, and caino to New Zealand in 1886. He first settled in Canterbury, and after spending 17 years there he camo to the North Island. Ho was dairy farming in tho Wairnrapa, and camo to Hamilton 20 vcara ago to act as a pig buyer for tho Woodvillo Bacon Company. For some years ho had been in business as a butcher. Mr. and Mrs. Cavo celebrated their golden wedding on September 26, 1932. Mr. Cavo is survived by a widow, four sons and two daughters, Messrs. M. K. Cave (To Kopuru), C. Cave (Christchurch), S. Cave (Wellington), and T. Cavo (Walton), Mesdamcs M. W. Tong (Hamilton) and H. F. Louch (Ngatea). There are 22 grandchildren and ono great-grand-child.
