FLAG CUP ESSAY
The Flag Cup essay competition this year has been won by Margaret Sayers, of Royal Oak School, according to a report received at yesterday's meeting of the Auckland Education Board, It was reported that the competition evoked little interest, only 16 entries being received. The chairman, Mr. T. IT. Wells, said that probably no more Flag Cup essays would bo held, referring to the opposition by headmasters to school essay competitions in general.
