BLOW TO MOUNTAINEERS
HIMALAYAN EXPEDITION MEMBER DIES OF PNEUMONIA (Received June 18, 9.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, June 13 The German expedition which is climbing Nanga Parbat (26,629 ft.), one of the highest peaks in the Himalayas, has received a set-back by death from pneumonia of Herr Alfred Drexel, one of its most capable members.
