CATHEDRAL PILGRIMAGE
- NEW BRITISH SCHEME * PROCEEDS FOR UNEMPLOYED (Received June 18, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, June 10 Their Majesties the King and Queen will attend a special service at Westminster Abbey on July 1, -when a 6cheme for a "pilgrimage" to Britain's cathedrals, the purpose of which is to raise funds for the unemployed in distressed areas, will he inaugurated. The pilgrimage, the idea of which originated with the Dean of Canter- ' bury, Dr. Hewlett Johnson, will last a fortnight, and tickets costing 2s 6d will he sold to the pilgrims, who will see the cathedrals under special circumstances.
