CONTESTS ON SATURDAY WESLEY CLUB'S EVENT The Wesley Harrier Club held a run over the Avondale course on Saturday, 30 members taking part. A run-in over 300 yds resulted as follows:—Fast rack: T. EVENT AT CHRISTCHURCH [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS association] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday For tho fourth year in succession, Civil Servico (Dunedin) won the annual steeplochase run for the Kennett Cup, held at tho Riocarton racecourse this afternoon. L. C. McLachlan (Civil Servico) was again tho individual winner, and he was followed by two club mates, J. G. Barnes and A. R. Gcddes. The next to finish were A. D. Park and C. H. Matthews, members of local clubs.
