THE HARBOUR BRIDGE
Sir, —A considerable amount of secrecy is being indulged in by the Harbour Bridge Company. Finance is apparently the deadlock, which is preventing the •work from proceeding. If the project is worth while, and I'm sure it should be, why worry about overseas finance, when the Dominion can produce sufficient, provided, of course, tlie proposition is conducted in a sound manner. Several methods are available, but so far all efforts have been directed to obtaining money from England. Why not attempt to raise the money in the Dominion and the profits will remain in New Zealand also. A.C.S.
