NORTHERN QUEENSLAND BRITISH COMPANY FORMED BRISBANE, May 21 As the result of negotiations in London with the Premier of Queensland, Mr. Forgan Smith, a British company is being formed to operate on concession areas in Northern Queensland held by the Commonwealth Mines Preliminary Syndicate, Ltd. The chairman of the n<?w company will be Sir Hugh O'Neill.' first Speaker of the House of Commons of Northern Ireland, and the capital will be about £600,000. The concession covers 70,000 acres, which have been prospected for gold and other metals.
