TOUR OF AUSTRALIANS The council of the New Zealand Amatcui' Athletic Association advised ft -last evening's meeting of the Auckland Centre that it had decided to take the Auckland body a advice and apply to the Victorian-rtuthon-ties with a view to arrangm? a visit to Now Zenland of some of tho leading athletes who will bo appearing, at Melbourne during it hi centenary celebrations. . Notice was received from the council that affiliation had been granted to the Cambridge Athletic Club. . Considerable discussion followed regarding the non-inclusion of ,N., F. Cooper in the British Empire Games team. Neil fronj .Technical Old Boys to tho Presbyterian harriers- • was granted. The transfer of J. R'. Green from Lynndale to Auckland was approved subject to the usual conditions. The question of a tour of a team of Australian athletes was discussed and the suggestion that a team of Victorian athletes drawn from such as Yates, McLnrdy.
