NOTED PREACHER
VISIT BY DR. F. W. NORWOOD ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND SOON Dr. F. W. Norwood; minister of the City Temple, London, who 'has made a tour of Australia, where he has addressed vast audiences, will make & brief stay in Auckland while en route to the United States of America at the end of June. The Auckland Y.M.C/A. lias concluded arrangements under which he will address a gathering ou the afternoon of Sunday, June 24, at> the Town Hall.
Dr. Norwood represented the Australian Y.M.C.A. among the Australian troops during the war, and for a short period filled the pulpit of the City Temple. After the armistice he returned to Australia to accept the jfcsition of national religious work secretary of the Y.M.C.A., but before ha had been long in the position he received a call from the City Templo as its minister. For 15 years he has occupied this historic and pulpit, and has established for himself a reputation as an outstanding orator and a much, sought after preacher.
