ELLERSLIE DOMAIN
PROPOSALS FOR LIGHTING Proposals for the floodlighting of the Ellorslio Domain were discussed by tho Ellerslio Domain Board and representatives of local sports bodies last evening. The Auckland Electric-Power Board wrote recommending that not less than two lights ho installed. The Power Board would ho prepared to instal the lights for'£l4 011 condition that the Domain Board would undertake to pay a flat rate of £2 15s per lamp per annum, inclusive of power and maintenance, and accept tho arrangement for not less than five years. After hearing tho views of the sports' representatives, tho hoard decided to advise them that it would defray tho cost of installation provided the Bug by and Rugby League clubs agreed to pay an additional £1 10s per annum in rental, and the Athletic Club paid a fee, to bo fixed, for tho uso of tho domain when holding ordinary meetings.
