TRANSFER OF HOSPITAL
MANGONUI TO KAITAIA RE-ERECTION OF BUILDING [from OUR OWN" correspondent] KAITAIA, Tuesday The County Hospital buildings, on the hill that overlooks Kaitaia, are rapidly being re-erected after beine: transferred from Mangonui. The smaller buildings have been erected and the majority completed except for the final painting, and tho main building is now in course of erection round tho original Kaitaia Memorial Hospital. The last shipment from Manconui was brought to Awanui last week and has been transferred by lorry to the site at Kaitaia. It is anticipated that the hospital will be completed within four or five weeks.
