BAY OF PLENTY SHOW
WHAKATANE FIXTURE [by TELEGRAM —OWN correspondent] WHAKATANE, Saturday Arrangements are well in hand for the Bay of Plenty Winter Show to be held hero on four days, commencing next Wednesday. All stall space has been taken, and there will be a big increase in outside exhibits. Special efforts are being made to provide more interest in the show by increasing the entertainment section. Entries in the various classes are well ahead of last year,, and indications point to the fixture being one of the most successful yet held. The show is to be opened by the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture.
