THIS EVENING'S CONTEST The second match of the wrestling season in Auckland will take place at the Town Hall this evening, when Dr. F. Meyer will meet Charlie Santen. Santen was defeated by Shikina last week by one fall after making a good showing. Mayer won his match in Wellington the same night, defeating Michot. Meyer ia said to be similar to Stanley Pinto in style and. if so, is certain to antagonise a. section of the crowd. Neither of the contestants to-night employs gentle methods and so the bout is likely to be full of action. Both Moyer and Santen have wrestled some of the world's leading matmen and so their experience should enable them to give the crowd plenty for its money. A number of amateur bouts will precede the main contest.
