MATCH WITH WAIKATO
AUCKLAND REPRESENTATIVES PLAYERS FOR PRACTICE The following 20 players have been chosen by Mr. V. R. Meredith, sole selector to the Auckland Rugby Union, to practice in view of the first representative match of the season against Wailcato at Hamilton on June 1 Backs. Corner (Grammar;, Brimble (Manukau), Slyfield (Grammar), Wales (College Rifles), Hammon (Grammar), Kfcdgley (University), Buckley (Grammar). Caughey (University), Heazlewood (Manukau), Matheson" (Grammar), Bush (Univer sity). Forwards.—Finlayson (Grafton), Hadle.v (Marist), Pepper (Manukau). McLean (Grafton), A. Knight (Grammar), Ross (College Rifles), Peaeocke (University). Morgan (Grammar), Organ (Ponsonby). Solomon (Ponsonby). The inclusion of three fullbacks, Heazlewood, Matheson an.d Bush, indicates that the selector has not made up his mind regarding his final team and it is fairly obvious that there is the possibility of other players catching his eye before the match. It is early in the season yet and form hasi probably not been truly revealed, so additions to the list of players for practice may bo made.
