The exchange premium on dividends payable in sterling is not included in the calculation of returns. GOLD AND SILVER QUOTATIONS IN LONDON (Received May 13. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. May 12 Fine gold is quoted to-day at £0 15s lOd an ounce, compared with £6 16a Id yesterday and £6 10s on Thursday. Silver was quoted yesterday at 19£ d an ounce spot and 193 d forward, compared with 19 13-16 d both positions on Thursday. The quotation for silver at per fine ounce yesterday was 20Jd, compared with 21 gd on Thursday.
