PRESENTATIONS
The presentation of cutlery was made to the retiring secretary of the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society, Mr. H. E. Kissling, at a meeting of the executive by tho president, Mr. A. Best. Mr. Kissling leaves at tho end of this month to take up his duties as secretary-organiser to tho Manuwatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Society. „ , i, . i Tho Western Bay of Plenty Returned Soldiers' Association at their meeting at Tauranga took tho opportunity to make a presentation to Mr. L. R. Wilkinson in recognition of his valuable assistance to the association. Tho president, Mr, C. T. Clinkard, referred to the help given by Mr. Wilkinson to returned men during his term as president. On behalf of the association he handed Mr. Wilkinson a leather wallet containing a cheque. The recipient was also elected a lifo member of the association.
