AUSTRALIAN FIRM'S PLANS With a view to. engaging talent for the Tivoli circuit of Australia, ]NIr. F. Neil passed through Auckland by the Monterey on Saturday on his way to the United England and the Continent. He said it was his firm's intention to brine: to Aus- * tralia and New Zealand leading vaude- _ ville actors and actresses, and two companies would open seasons simultaneously in Sydney and Melbourne about the time of the Centenary celebrations. 1 The first attraction that the firm would , send to New Zealand would be a vaudeville revue company, which would commence its Dominion tour in December. It was hoped to establish in New Zealand a circuit of vaudeville of the high standard of pre-war days.
