BRITISH TRADITIONS
Sir, —On Wednesday we, as a Dominion of the British Empire, will have the honour of paying homage to those of our countrymen who gave their lives in helping to prevent the land boundaries of our Empire from being altered by other Powers. Tney. gave willingly because of the traditions of their sires. Our duty is to xiphoid those traditions and ensure that they are passed on to the next generation. Our Empire owes its very existence to the courage of its men in past wars. Our responsibility to them to-day is great. What of the morrow? To bo prepared means security ; therefore peace. What, if through our neglect, our children cannot uphold those British traditions that have been so loyally handed down to usH 13/401.
