THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, attended the annual conference of the Auckland District of the Ancient Order of Foresters in the Foresters' ■ Hall last evening, when the centenary : of the Order was celebrated. Sub- 1 sequently, accompanied by Lady Bled- i isloe, His Excellency witnessed tha i screening of the film " Voltaire " at the Plaza Theatre. New Zealand blinded ex-soldiers and their wives will be the guests of Their Excellencies at afternoon tea at Government House this afternoon. In the evening Their Excellencies will be present at a Toe H gathering at the Missions to Seamen Hall in Sturdee Street.
