WOMEN'S DIVISION
At the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the Women's Division of .the Farmers' Union, tho president referred to the fact that the branch was anxious to do all that was possible to assist country members when they came to the city, particularly if illness had necessitated their journey here.
Mrs. Hocy reported having paid a number of visits to members in hospital at various times. The secretary reported on all meetings of the branch held during the past year, and also on several visits paid to country branches by local members at various times. The treasurer's report showed the branch was in a satisfactory financial position. The officers elected for the ensuing year were as follows:—President, Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell; vice-presidents, Mrs. J. Cook, Mrs. Hoev and Miss L. Dodd; secretary, Mrs. 11. S. Judson; assistant secretary, Mrs. W. Traill; treasurer, Mrs. A. Appleby; committee, Miss Jl. Aubin. Mrs. Horrobin, Mrs. Neels, Mrs. Peters, Mrs. Williamson, Miss 10. Scott.
