Notwithstanding other attractions there was a good attendance on the Whangarei Bowling Club's greens this afternoon, when several interesting games were played. The rftin of the previous night made the green somewhat heavy, although it played well. As the season is nearing completion, one of the club's greens has been closed and is being prepared for top-dressing. The season so far has been very successful.
