WOMEN'S DIVISION
Ardniore. — The monthly meeting of the branch was held in Mrs. Gillett's garden and eight new members were enrolled. An address on " First Aid and Nursing in the Home " was given by Sister Reynolds, of Pnpakura. Points were awarded to Mrs. G. Burnside and Mrs. Heron for the competition, " Sponge Without Butter." Drury.—At a recent meeting donations were made to the Waitemata executive housekeeping fund and to the community chest. The monthly competition. "Best Arranged Vase of IMowers," was won by Mrs. J. M. Cossey, with Mrs. Mason second. Mangatangi.—The resignation of the president, Mrs. It. Potts, who has left the district, was received with regret. Elections wore ah follows: —President, Mrs T. AVilson; vice-presidents, Mrs. A. Parris and Mrs. A. F. Holder; secretarv, Miss Chipman. Pukekohe.—Mrs. Watson presided at the first annual general meeting of the branch. The meeting was addressed by Mesdames Orr and Wells, of Pukekawa. Officers for the coming year are as follows: —President, Mrs. Watson; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Russell, Bailey and Field; secretary, Mrs. R. Blenneihassettj treasurer, Miss J. Bayly; committee, Mesdames Hardy, Rollingi!, Wilks, McKinney and Hart.
