MANGERE ANGLICANS
There was a large attendance at tlif annual meeting of parishioners of St. James' Church, Mangere. Bridge. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £lO, and the accounts of the various branches of church activity also were in a satisfactory., condition.. An address was given by Mr. J. Hogben, representative of the parish in Synod. The vicar,, the Rev. L. Foidkesj. ijdio is retiring, was presented with a wallet from the parishioners, while Mrs. Foulkes ceived a handbag from the and a fountain pen from the Simda; school.
