MOUNT ROSKILL SCHOOL
TRIBUTE TO HEADMASTER In appreciation of the work done by Mr. .F. A. Garry, who has been headmaster of the INlount Roskill school for the past 10 years, a committee of residents organised a highly-successful fair at tho school on Saturday afternoon. Over 1000 people were present and a proiifc of £75 was realised for school improvements. Mr. A. S. Richards, M.P. for Roskill, presented Mr. Garry with a large framed photograph showing the school before and after improvements had been oH'octcd. Mr. Richards referred to the numerous improvements which Mr. Garry had made in tho grounds, including tho provision of tennis courts, a sports field, a sand heap for infants and a* flagstaff.
